Rob L. and his sons own and operate Interceptor. Before stepping into the private property towing business, the family spent more than 20 years in Denver’s automotive industry, handling over 10,000 vehicles in that time. That hands-on history shapes how we approach every call. Why We Took Over Interceptor
The decision wasn’t sudden. After two decades around vehicles in Denver, Rob kept hearing the same complaints from property managers: unauthorized parkers blocking residents, abandoned vehicles sitting for weeks, tow operators who were impossible to reach when something needed to happen now.
Interceptor already had the licenses, the trucks, and a solid reputation in the market. What the company needed was a working family willing to answer the phone at 2 a.m. and show up when they say they will. The previous owner had built something worth keeping — he was just ready to step back. Rob and his sons stepped in.

- Private property impounds — We document violations, post required signage, and remove non-compliant vehicles fast. Free for multi-family communities across Denver Metro.
- Abandoned vehicle removal — Ghost cars and abandoned vehicles removed at no cost to the property owner. All charges go directly to the vehicle owner.
- On-site vehicle relocation — For paving, striping, landscaping, or any project requiring vehicles to be cleared, we coordinate directly with your maintenance crews.

Private property towing in Colorado is heavily regulated, and for good reason. Property owners face real liability when an unlicensed or non-compliant operator pulls a tow on their lot. We follow the Colorado Revised Statutes (CRS) Title 42 — Motor Vehicles to the letter, including:
- Posted signage at all property entrances before any tow
- Vehicle owner notification within 30 minutes of a tow
- Full adherence to Denver municipal ordinances on towing fees and vehicle release
- State-licensed operation under PUC T-05624 and DOT 4257505
